Mark is the Director of Manufacturing of The Econo-Rack Group Inc. Econo-Rack Group Inc. is a company that designs, manufactures and installs storage racking systems throughout North America.
His wife Darcy, son Jake, and daughter Justine all looked at him a little weird when he said that he was joining the team heading to the South Pole. He told them that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for himself while helping kids in the inner city schools at the same time. Though nervous about the conditions, his family supports him 100%.
He does find that he gets strange looks while pulling the tire that he is using to train for the expedition, so if you see him out there, be sure to say hi and give him some words of encouragement.
