Wow, what you have just accomplished is simply amazing. We have been thinking of all of you in the days past and we are thrilled for your expedition that your goal of reaching the South Pole has been achieved. This great news has been widely covered here by the media too! Congratulations, what an inspiration to us all. We're glad everyone is safe and slowly on their way home. What a wonderful gift you have all given to this community for Christmas and for the new year. Merry Christmas to you and your families. Congratulations on arriving at the South Pole. Happy birthday, Peter. As a team you have made many sacrifices and as a result many children will benfit from them. You are an inspiration to others to never give up on your dreams however difficult to attain. Mark, although you may be disappointed you were not there I'm sure you were there in their thoughts and in spirit. You accomplished more than many will in a lifetime. I'm glad to hear you should fully recover from your frostbite. You are all in my prayers and I wish you a safe return.

Steve, a bit of advice. Next time you are in the middle of nowhere, don't call home at dinnertime from a strange phone number, or Dad will probably hang up on you again, thinking you are a telemarketer! You can't imagine the joy and relief we felt at hearing your voice and knowing you made it safely. Happy Birthday Peter, and congrats to all. Keep safe and warm till we see you.
